It often said that writing your first million words is an important landmark for a writer. Well, I have passed that landmark with my latest book, In Search of Lost Girls. I have written eight novels reaching a total of over a million words. The longest book is The Starless Square with over 172’000 words, closely followed by Storyfolk with over 163’000 words.. The shortest book, was Boy & Girl with just over 104’000 words.
And the future? Apart from editing and publishing those books not already published, a number of books are in the air: the fifth book of the Storyteller’s Quest; the sequel to Twisted Paths in the series called Beyond the Face of the World and a dystopian novel centred around a food crisis (see the post: A World Gone Wrong).
