See the new photo gallery about the Latenium, an archeology museum located in Hauterive, a suburb of Neuchâtel, Switzerland. The museum is focussed on the La Tène period, one of the main epochs of Celtic culture. See the gallery.

Hello, do you have any books, catalogues the i can purchase of the Iron Age La Téne finds – swords and offerings, items with repoussé etc?
Also if i were to visit the museum could it be arranged to privately view and handle some items for research?
And who should i contact?
I’m a heritage blacksmith and specialise in repoussé and Iron Age metalwork, and live and work in England.
Best wishes

Hi Simon. I personally cannot answer most of your questions. I am just a local ‘tourist’. But I can give you the web address of the Latenium http://latenium.ch There is an English version of the site. If ever you do decide to visit, let me know. We could meet up.
